Sanatorium MVO "Sukhum"
In the sanatorium MVO "Sukhum" we took preferential vouchers, as a family of military personnel. We flew to Sochi around 23 and at the exit we were immediately "swarmed" by taxi drivers of far from Russian nationality. Everyone in a row came up and offered their services, but as soon as we said that Sukhum, they walked away from us and said that they would not go or wringed an incredible price. As a result, there was one Russian person who undertook to take us. The three of us arrived, my daughter at that time was 4.7 years old. Considering that we flew from Arkhangelsk, or rather, we were detained there due to fog for 7 hours, then in Moscow for an hour, in general, we were none and, in principle, were glad to sit down somewhere and finally arrive at the sanatorium. We drove on an old stinky penny to distant Abkhazia. We passed the border quickly, but the essence is that we had to get out of the car and walk 200 meters along the bridge with our bags on our own, then show our passport, pay medical insurance and get into the car. Okay, dragged along with my poor girl, who was sleeping on the go from fatigue and moved on. I didn’t like the whole beginning of our journey. We drove, as it seemed to me, an eternity, but at great speed along a winding road. From fear, my dream disappeared and I looked all the way into the blackness in front of me and thought, just not to get somewhere and get there safely. When we finally arrived in Sukhum, we began to stray - the driver did not know from which side to drive to the sanatorium, you really can’t see anything in the dark, and the lights don’t really shine. We arrived. Before us is the gate and the guy from the booth. Reception department. We were issued, we asked for a better room, because we knew that, as always, numbers are not so hot, we are not admirals, but captains of the 3rd rank and this also plays an important role. We asked about suites, to which we were told that they are no different from ordinary ones, why would you overpay. We did not have a question of money, there was a question of comfort. We were escorted along a dark, obviously beautiful alley to the building, saying in passing that there was no more water - it flows only until 24. When we entered the room, my first thought was about the bed for the child and us - everything broke from fatigue . . Indeed, there was no water and we couldn’t wash our hands after planes, taxis, streets, wiped the child’s hands with a damp cloth, and lay down herself like that, with makeup on her face and dirty hands. Through fatigue, it was impossible not to pay attention to the wretchedness and horror of this number. It’s impossible to even convey and tell everything that appeared before us: old furniture from the Soviet era, dirty bedside rugs, the wretchedness of the interior, but in the shower it’s just hell. the tiles are dirty, the faucets fall out of the wall along with cement and tiles, which in some places chipped, on the once whitewashed walls (apparently from Soviet times) black mold in large circles. Everything is screwed and attached to such a feeling by a drunken plumber so that the centering, evenness is completely broken, and the shower is not inserted somewhere up there, but tied with a rope. The next morning we got up and went to the dining room.
The dining room consists of two halls, on the tables there are remnants of former luxury, in the sense of serving: twisted napkins. Well, the dining room is a separate conversation. After walking to the reception, we were moved to another room, a little better, but with mold and that's it the rest in addition - they didn’t move us to the suite, as we didn’t ask - apparently they wanted something. Waitresses serve in the dining room, which can be said - one of them really liked to put a distributing table right next to me: there were dirty dishes at the bottom of the rags and " Chemistry", after the remark of the main one in the hall - she stopped staging. Periodically dirty forks, knives - in fact, all the little things, but unpleasant. An elderly couple was sitting at the next table, the man apparently served in the military medical academy, judging by the conversation, and everything delivered food and unsanitary conditions, periodically refusing to eat, as his wife did not persuade him. My child didn’t eat either, especially because they love to pour their whole plate with their hot peppery gravy with lots of greens.
There are a lot of dogs and cats near the dining room, which these dogs love to chase, which is very frightening for children and us adults. There is a brown bear to bring - a very pitiful sight, everyone feeds him sugar and he lives in the mud - it's a pity to his tears. In the evening, one could observe a picture of the removal of food and full bags from the dining room by the attendants.
Our peacekeepers are located on the territory, they “hide” near the destroyed pool (it suffered during the war).
They do not comply with traffic rules - they yelled at me when I crossed the road at a pedestrian crossing, they cross all the lines indiscriminately, they always greet with horns, from which all the time squeaking and squealing in the street. Yes, and in stores there are really no price tags - how you look and they will take money.
The therapist prescribed us a massage of the collar zone, oxygen cocktails, min water for my head drassenval and a shoulder mud wrap (it hurts me from time to time). The massage is so weak that I had to agree to everything back for money, mud wrapping is also for money - mud is not cheap. My husband cured a tooth, but what is most interesting, when we came to the sanatorium to get a tax certificate (both were decently available) , then we were told that they would not give it and did not even know what it was and what it looked like, to a request to provide a license for medical services, we also received a refusal, due to its absence. THOSE. it turns out that all the manipulations were performed by someone unknown and of what quality. - keep this in mind.
The plus was in the tennis court and the absence of those who wanted to play - we took rackets and rushed around while my daughter rode a bicycle. We brought our own, but you can rent it there. Every day in the shower I "rejoiced" smelly, yellow-dirty water, which had to flow for about 40 minutes. After taking a shower - the water spread all over the floor and everyone walked with wet feet. The staff is impudent, I think it's Abkhazian blood, I don't accept and don't understand such people - that's why I personally had clashes - no one wants to do anything and to correct - they generally still washed the child with what water, how we eat, and so on.
Nature, of course, is magnificent, but they don’t value it at all, the streets are in the trash (if only impudent schoolchildren were kicked out to clean up). Monkey nursery - it's a pity to look at them, smelly and old - there is no money for anything - there was a war. By the way, this is their main argument, although 15 years have passed already, the war. , it seems to be more in their heads. I have never seen so many men who would sit during the day, do nothing, drink coffee, twist car keys (decent ones, I must say) on their fingers - war. no work. It was sickening to look at it - they tried not to pay attention.
But nature "came" to visit and into the room, I start writing a horror story. In a new place, I don’t sleep much at all, but then somehow one after another and it began to seem to me that someone was running after me. I woke up, complained to my husband, but he complained that it seemed to me or that I dreamed something. I believed him and slept on. By the end of our vacation, one day, we were going to the dining room, my husband took out a jacket, began to put it on and a cockroach of indecent size fell out of his sleeve. There are such big ones in the south - for us northerners they are unusual, we have red-haired, small ones, but here the “elephant” is whole! We couldn't kill him for a long time - he was big. There were two nights left before departure - I wake up from the fact that something tickles my hand, I open my eyes and I see how this vile insect crawls from my hand in the dark and runs away under the pillow, you can’t imagine, I flew up on the bed - the dream is out. We rummaged all our beds were killed, a couple of pieces, and my husband reassured me that they were no more and would not be, but then I weakly believed something. It was hard to fall asleep (not the right word). The night before departure: the story began to repeat itself, the dream disappeared - the mattresses were raised, and there are so many of them, it seemed to me that my brain could not bear this disgust, they sat cutely on the wall, ran around the floor, clattering their paws, in short, we did not sleep for half the night , but fatigue takes its toll. For me, the main thing was not to touch the child and she would not wake up and see this massacre. Suitcase, bag - spent the night on the balcony.
We didn’t say anything to the duty officer on the floor - a scandal would have erupted, and nerves were already to hell. Since I am an emotional person, I refused this idea, I decided to write and lay out everything about this sanatorium. And now, almost a year later, I found the time.
The positive, of course, was nature, the clean April sea and the air, saturated with the smell of plants, flowers, and freshness. This cannot be taken away from Abkhazia.
A bus takes you to the airport, which you need to sign up for and buy a ticket. Departure at 9 o'clock it seems, and the flight was at 13 with something. The stock is good, but construction in Adler is a problem. We got to the border well, quickly, at the very border our driver skillfully, impudently got in and we didn’t stand in traffic for a long time, but then. Then the road to the airport began, we dragged ourselves for so long that I thought we wouldn’t be able to catch the plane again experiences. A minute before the end of registration, we flew into the airport, we were told by representatives of Aeroflot what they think of us and that we need to leave earlier. My advice is to leave early. . .
Well, a summary: I won’t go there again and I don’t advise anyone - it sucks.
